Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a high school Junior or Senior
• Indo-American living in Greater Houston area (Indian Parentage)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Availability & Flexibility for the program per the schedule
• Passion for leadership

Other Key Information:

• Applicants will be invited for an interview
• Decision of Selection Committee is based on academic, extracurricular and leadership activities of the student (application & interview), and their decision is final
• Program dues are $300; Students needing financial assistance should send a letter of request to YLDP Program Director
• Events are held once a month, usually on Saturday mornings for about four hours
• Students are required to comply with the general school protocol and safe behavior on field trips and in sessions
• Students will be responsible for their own transportation
